Description
A Ready-to-Use Temporary Fencing Solution
Whether you’re securing a building site overnight, marking off a work area or managing crowds at an event, this Heras fencing kit gives you a single complete bay in one purchase. Rather than ordering panels, feet and clips separately and hoping the quantities match up, you get the right components together, so you can plan your run by the kit and know exactly what’s turning up.
It’s the same standard-size mesh fencing used across UK construction and events, chosen because it’s quick to put up, simple to take down and built to be used again and again.
What's Included in the Kit
- 1 x Heras mesh fence panel – galvanised, anti-climb welded mesh
- 1 x rubber/concrete base foot – holds the panel upright and spreads the load
- 2 x coupler clips – secure the panel to the next bay (one near the top, one near the bottom)

Where It's Used
This kit suits almost any temporary perimeter: construction and demolition sites, road and utility works, festivals and outdoor events, car parks, vacant property protection, and crowd or pedestrian management. The galvanised finish stands up to wet British weather, and because each bay breaks down quickly, the same fencing can move from job to job for years.
Easy to Put up, Easy to Extend
There are no tools and no specialist labour required, stand the panel on the foot, line up the next panel and clamp them together with the clips. Because every kit shares the same standard dimensions, you can buy several and run them in a continuous line, around corners or in a full enclosure, scaling the order up or down as your site changes.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Is one foot enough to keep a panel standing securely?
A single foot supports a panel well within a connected run, because each foot also helps brace the panel either side of it. For free-standing ends, gateways, exposed or windy sites, it’s worth adding a second foot or bracing to improve stability; many sites run roughly 1.5 feet per panel on average for this reason.
Will these clips and panels work with Heras fencing I already own?
Yes, as long as your existing panels use the standard 38.1mm tubular frame. The couplers are designed to clamp onto this common size, so this kit will join straight onto most standard Heras-style temporary panels already on site.
Do I need anti-tamper clips instead of standard ones?
The clips supplied are standard couplers, which are ideal for general site and event use. If your fencing borders a public area or a higher-risk location, anti-tamper clips (removed only with a special tool) are recommended to stop the fence from being dismantled by passers-by. These are usually available as an upgrade.
Can I Stand This Fencing on Grass, Tarmac or Uneven Ground?
Yes. The weighted base foot sits on top of the surface rather than needing to be fixed down, so it works on grass, hardstanding, tarmac and slightly uneven terrain. On very soft or sloping ground, spreading the load with extra feet helps keep the line stable.
How Many Kits Do I Need for My Perimeter?
Measure the total length you want to fence in metres and divide by 3.45 (the width of one panel) to get the number of bays. As a rough guide, ten kits will cover around 34.5 linear metres. Buy a couple of spare clips if you’re closing a full loop.
Is This Suitable for Permanent Fencing?
No, this is temporary fencing designed to be installed, moved and reused rather than fixed in place long-term. If you need a permanent boundary, a welded or bolt-down fencing system is the better choice. For any job measured in days, weeks or months, this kit is purpose-built.
