The Mortar Tub ECO 250L in White is a 250-litre mixing tub made from 100% recycled, UV-stabilised MDPE plastic. Measuring 1065mm (L) x 635mm (W) x 760mm (H), it’s built for mixing and moving mortar, plaster, render, concrete and screed on site. Reinforced rim and corners add strength, while integrated forklift channels on all four sides make it easy to lift and relocate. Fully stackable and nestable for storage, with a smooth interior for quick clean-up between mixes.
If you’re mixing large batches of mortar, render or screed and don’t want the job broken up by constant refills, the 250L capacity gives you room to work through a job without stopping. A full 250L load of wet mortar or screed weighs considerably more than the tub itself, so always use the forklift channels or a suitable lifting aid once it’s loaded rather than moving it by hand.
Yes. The UV-stabilised MDPE is designed to stay outdoors for the long term without becoming brittle, cracking, or breaking down from sun exposure.
Rinse it out with water while any residue is still workable. The smooth interior has no seams or rough patches for material to catch on, so most jobs come clean with a hose and a stiff brush.
Set mortar can usually be knocked or chipped out without damaging the tub, but it’s best avoided where possible, as repeated build-up will make future cleaning harder.
