Description
Key Features
Compact enough for tight spaces. At 1140 x 580 x 860mm off the stand and 34kg unloaded, the Minimix 130 fits through a standard garden gate or side passage and doesn’t need a van to get it there, most estate cars will take it.
Runs from a normal 230V socket. No fuel, no choke, no warm-up. Plug into a standard UK 230V supply (ideally via an RCD-protected outlet), and the 0.45kW motor is ready to go.
130-litre drum, 90-litre working capacity. Enough to mix close to a full barrow load in one go, so you’re not stopping and starting as often on bigger jobs like patios or fence runs.
26.5rpm drum speed is fast enough to keep mortar and concrete workable, slow enough to avoid splashback and keep the mix consistent.
Use it on the stand or off it. The barrow-height swivel stand makes tipping straight into a wheelbarrow easy. Take it off the stand for lower-level mixing, tighter spaces, or loading straight into a trench or bucket.
Powder-coated steel construction: Belle’s usual build quality, a powder-coated finish that shrugs off knocks, wet cement and outdoor storage far better than a painted finish would.
What's It Good For?
The Minimix 130 sits between hand-mixing and a full site mixer. It suits:
- Patios and paving
- Fence post footings
- Shed and outbuilding bases
- Bricklaying and blockwork mortar
- Garden walls and landscaping
- General home improvement and small extensions
- Concrete, mortar and plaster mixes
If you’re mixing more than a bag or two of cement by hand and it’s slowing you down, this is the next step up, without buying more mixer than a driveway or garden project needs.

Frequently Asked Questions
What Comes in the Box, and Does it Need Assembling?
You get the mixer body, drum, swivel stand and fittings, plus the instruction manual. It isn’t supplied ready-built; the stand and drum need fitting together first, which takes most people well under half an hour with basic tools.
Do I Need Anything Special for the Electrics, or Will a Normal Socket do?
A standard UK 230V/13A socket is fine. We’d recommend running it through an RCD-protected supply or an RCD adaptor if your socket isn’t already protected, particularly if you’re working outdoors or on damp ground.
Can I Run it Off an Extension Lead?
Yes, but keep the lead as short as practical and fully uncoiled while in use; a long, coiled cable can overheat under load. A heavy-duty outdoor extension lead is the safer choice over a light indoor one.
Is This a One-Person Job to Move and Operate?
Generally, yes. At 34kg it’s within reach of one person lifting for short distances, and the stand’s wheels mean you can roll it across a site rather than carry it once it’s assembled.
How Does This Compare to Belle's Larger Site Mixers, Like the Premier 150XT?
The Minimix 130 is built for occasional to regular DIY and small trade jobs rather than daily site use. If you’re mixing all day, every day, on a commercial site, a larger machine like the Premier 150XT will outlast it. For garden, driveway and home renovation work, the Minimix 130 is the more practical size and price point.
Roughly, How Much Can I Mix in One Load?
The 90-litre working capacity is close to a full traditional wheelbarrow load, so it typically handles around one to one and a half standard bags of cement per mix, depending on the ratio you’re using.
What's Covered Under the Warranty, and Do I Need to Register It?
The mixer comes with Belle’s manufacturer’s warranty against manufacturing defects. We’ll include the paperwork with your order, check the manual for the exact registration steps, as these can be updated by Belle from time to time.
Can I get spare parts if a paddle or seal wears out?
Yes. As a genuine Belle product, spare parts and accessories are available, get in touch with our team with your model details, and we can source what you need.
